Mr. Kimmes has 4 years of experience specializing in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West. He has worked on the investigation and design of geotechnical-related elements on numerous transportation projects and with regional utility companies to protect and maintain geotechnical-related assets. His experience includes geotechnical field reconnaissance, geologic mapping, levee design and assessment, development and implementation of difficult-access subsurface explorations, instrumentation, 3D data visualization, ground anchors, and deep foundations. Rock slope stability is an area of expertise. He is an active member of the CCI rope access team with extensive experience conducting on-slope work related to reconnaissance, investigation, design and construction support for rock slope stability projects.
