Associate Engineer
Mr. Kost has 7 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer working with concrete dams, embankment dams, and levees using both deterministic and risk-based methods. His experience includes analysis and design of drilled shaft and micropile deep foundations, MSE walls, and tieback walls. He has helped address landslide and slope stabilization challenges for clients as diverse as state departments of transportation, local municipalities, public utilities, and private landowners. Mr. Kost’s work with levees has also included rapid assessments of flood damage and design of emergency repairs. He has broad experience developing and managing geotechnical investigation plans and laboratory testing programs to address clients’ unique design requirements.
